If it’s the “Wow Factor” you are seeking – look no further! This trip far exceeded my expectations – and they were pretty high to start with. Every day was packed with new and exciting sights and experiences, too many to list here! We were fortunate to have Pete with us throughout our 14 days, visiting Quito, Cotopaxi, and the Cloud Forest followed by 7 glorious days on the stunning Mary Anne brigantine yacht. Pete’s enthusiasm and knowledge of everything wildlife combined with that of our official guides, Diana, George and Collette made for a fabulous and fun trip. Don’t bother taking any books to read-“it’s not a holiday, it’s an experience!” . I returned bursting to tell friends and family all about it- and they all wanted to listen! I’m just back from two weeks with Pete in the Pantanel. What can I say ….I enjoyed the trip immensely. I found the wildlife sightings quite staggering. At the very start of the trip, Pete said ‘we’ll see Jaguar’ … I live in Costa Rica and if you see one Jaguar in your life here you’re doing well. But Pete’s quiet confidence was well placed and we saw 13 different jaguar, 30 times. We saw a huge range of interesting behaviours and we even saw one killing a caiman, right in front of our eyes.

I also really appreciated Pete’s zeal, passion and commitment to helping us see stuff… he banged on my door at 4am one morning because a tapir was outside the room. Which was great …. That’s what we were all there for.

I actually also thought it was great value for money. The richness of what we saw surpassed my expectations by miles. And the people I met in the group, had all had interesting lives and we stayed up at night swapping stories from our youth.

I’d highly recommend going with Pete. You’ll see lots more than with anyone else.

“I knew Borneo would be a fascinating destination… but I never could have imagined how amazing a wildlife extravaganza it would be…  All of our time in the field was enhanced by the depth and breath of Pete’s knowledge of natural history… coupled with his genuine warmth towards everyone, quirky humor and unabashed delight that matched or exceeded our own — whether it involved snakes, bearded pigs, pitcher plants, hornbills, orangutans, insects or frogs… Bottom line: I would leap on any opportunity to go anywhere in the world with Pete and Renee and you should too — it simply doesn’t get any better than this!”
